 e received many calls from all over the world about
our December, 1999 cover auction. While some people liked the idea and supported us,
others weren’t quite as enthusiastic. Our thought—it was worth it!
After evaluating all of the offers, with quality,
not money, being the issue, we chose a very worthy cause, the meeting of two continents
for the education of our children for the new millennium. It was recognized that we can
help to promote education and facilitate the meeting of two continents, The Americas and
the Middle East, where each strive for better education for all children.
The Middle Eastern area is looking to us to provide
them with the best support possible and to educate their children in our universities.
That is why the Las VegaN with its cover story will be sending out complimentary copies of
the magazine to the heads of all universities, colleges and training facilities, not only
throughout the United States, but all over the world. In doing this, we hope to encourage
them to participate in Jordan’s RAMS College Second International Education
Exhibition located in Amman, Jordan, a very prestigious location.
We continue to promote Las Vegas as a community to
be recognized, not only for gaming and entertainment, but also for art and culture. We
have the best of both worlds combined in our city and we at the Las VegaN plan on starting
the new millennium with a Bang.
